KEREN® Car Vaults for Fisker Ocean – Your Design, Our Craftsmanship
A car owner happened to learn about the seat-bottom storage car vaults we designed for TESLA MODEL Y and hoped to install a similar vault in his own vehicle. We were very pleased to receive such recognition, but due to the different heights of the models, this storage compartment couldn't fit his vehicle. The customer didn’t share much else, and that was that.
Shortly after, another car owner contacted us, also wanting a similar storage car vault at the bottom of the seat of Model Y. After providing the dimensions of the existing product, he asked if it could be redesigned according to his needs. Of course, our answer was a resounding yes.
During the communication, we learned that he was a FISKER OCEAN owner and had been unable to find a satisfactory in-car safe on the market. Thus, he came up with the idea of designing it himself. Although the model is not widely available, we still accepted this custom challenge.
With no official Fisker Ocean vehicle data on hand, we relied on our previous experience in designing car vaults to guide the customer to provide more detailed reference information step by step. After multiple communications and repeated adjustments, the drawings were finally confirmed by the customer.
We immediately arranged for prototyping and sent it to him for trial installation. We were very pleased that the sample installation went smoothly and fully met expectations.
